Find your balance and register for Yoga Classes now!
Find you balance this summer with both indoor and outdoor Yoga classes for all levels. Classes are offered that focus on simple, functional and repetitive moves, as well as more advanced sessions that strengthen and stretch minor muscle groups that often are not engaged consistently.

- Beginner Yoga: Sundays in Maple/Oak from 7/31 to 8/28
- Outdoor Walking Yoga: Mondays, 7pm in Heritage Park from 8/1 to 8/29

Personal Training Floor Nights Goes Outdoors!

Yoga In the Park to Benefit Wounded Warrior Project
Join us for an inspirational outdoor yoga session on Saturday, July 30 at 9 a.m. in Heritage Park, which will be led by Dan Nevins, a nationally recognized Wounded Warrior featured on CBS News. All proceeds from this event, sponsored by Old Glory Flags and Flagpoles of Livonia, MI and Canton Leisure Services, will go to benefit Wounded Warrior Project. Dan Nevins credits the practice of yoga for turning his life around after losing his both legs in Iraq. Join him for this special yoga session in Heritage Park.
Tickets are $35 online and will be $45 the day of the event. Ticket price includes a Wounded Warrior Project yoga mat and carrying bag and Wounded Warrior support bracelet; while supplies last. Tickets are on sale now! Participants will receive a tax statement at the end of 2016 stating the portion of their donation that is tax deductible. First Annual Canton Senior Games
A wide variety of events has been scheduled for Seniors interested in competing in the First Annual Canton Senior Games, which are scheduled to take place August 23-25. Canton Club 55+ will offer a variety events in which seniors may compete in for a nominal fee for a chance to win in their age category.
Events Include: Sports Tournaments (Golf, Pickleball, Tennis, Billiards); Cards/Wii Games
(Euchre, Pinochle, Will Bowling); Field Games (Bean Bag Toss, Bocce Ball, Frisbee Toss, Softball Throw, Basketball Shot, Soccer Kick, Football Toss)
Competitions will take place throughout Canton at: Pheasant Run Golf Club, Summit on the Park, Heritage Park, Freedom Park and Griffin Park. Registration begins online at www.cantonfun.org July 11, 2016 for Canton Residents and July 18, 2016 for non-residents. Summer concerts are in full swing at Heritage Park at the amphitheater stage on Thursday nights from 7:30-9 pm

- 7/7 - Wonder Boys - A variety of blues and classic rock.
- 7/14 - Steve King and the Dittilies - Best choice for classic rock and the hottest variety of dance music.
- 7/21 - Gratitude Steel Band - Reggae, Classical, Soca, African, Gospehypso, Hawaiian, Floridian, and more!
- 7/28 - The Favorites - Family friendly classic rock music from the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s.
- 8/4 - Weekend Comeback - A five-piece ensemble that features saxophone and versatile female vocals. Including songs from the 60’s though today!
- 8/11 - All Directions - Blues, Jazz, Classic Motown and R&B
Family Movie Camp Out
Friday, July 15
Families are invited to set up tents around the Heritage Park Amphitheater and enjoy a movie at dusk during our Annual Family Movie and Camp Out. There will be plenty to do before the movie, including games, activities and entertainment for the entire family beginning at 6 p.m. The $20 overnight camping fee must be paid on site the day of the event. If you plan to come out to the event, but will not be camping, there will be a $5 wristband available to take part in the evening’s activities.
2016 Championship Cardboard Boat Race
Saturday, August 6
2nd Annual Cardborad Boat Race brings both families and local businesses to the Summit. We strive to have families and businesses get as creative as possible with their boats designed out of only cardboard and duct tape. Each boat is judged by participants before the start of the race based on creativity of design. Then its off to the races, where participants jump in their boats and race from one end of the lap pool to the other. Trophies: Most Creative Boat, Fastest Boat Award and Titanic Award.
Family Field Day with a Movie in the Park
Friday, August 12
Join Canton Leisure Services near north pavilions in Heritage Park for this family health and wellness opportunity! We encourage the entire family to participate in our Canton Field Day events, even your grandparents! No pre-registration required, the $10 per family fee is paid on-site. Following the Family Field Day we will be playing "The Good Dinosaur" (Rated PG) in the park on the big screen. Food, snacks and popcorn will be sold on site. Even if you cannot make it out for the Field Day come for the movie, it is free!

Bartlett's Kids Club
The Summit on the Park values our members, especially our kids! The Bartlett's Kids Club is free to Summit Members and provides monthly activities for our littlest members. To register for the Kids Club, visit the Bartlett's Kids Club page. Join us on July 16 from noon- 1:30pm at the Summit on the Park Splash Pad for balloons, side walk chalk drawings contest, popsicles and outdoor games and fun! Pre registration is required.
Preschool Summer Camp Fun
