Summit 20th Anniversary Community Celebration
The entire Canton Community is invited to join us in celebrating 20 years of our great facility on Sunday, February 28 from 1:30-6:00 p.m. Stop by the Summit on the Park to partake in all the festivities including fun "Under the Big Top" for children in the gym with carnival games, a magician, and more from 1:30-4pm!
There will also be a free open swim from 1:30-5:30pm. Free food and refreshments will be available as well (while supplies last), plus raffles and giveaways (including the chance to win an Annual Individual Membership).
All ages are then invited to the Summit Re-Dedication Ceremony beginning at 4 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom followed by special entertainment featuring: Dueling Pianos, refreshments, and a cash bar. Free entry to the building will be available during these times. With all the festivities planned for our special community celebration, there's sure to be something for everyone.

Family Fun Days with Bartlett’s Kids ClubBartlett's Kids ClubFebruary 2012-1:30pm
This month Kid's Club members will be solving a mystery with our special guest police officer, Patty Esselink. Join us as Officer Esselink helps us discover 'Who stole the cookies from the cookie jar?' Families will be shown how to collect 'evidence' by using a camera, finger print collection supplies and more. Families will also enjoy some cocoa and an opportunity to ask Officer Esselink about her job and what she does in her day.
This event is FREE for all Summit on the Park members, $3 per child for Canton residents, and $4 per child for non-residents. Additional information is available here

Local vendors return to the Summit on the Park offering a wide array of delicious eats, sweet treats, and handmade goods. The February indoor Market will tentatively feature: Bobilin Honey, Farmhouse Market (cheesecake, tarts, & more), The Pasta Shop, Farmington Soap Works, Classique Crafts & Bakes, Kapnick Orchards, Prochaska Farms, Steinhauser Farms (Pork, Beef, Chicken, Garlic & more), Jarhead Salsa & Tortilla Chip, Lula Bre’s Sweet Eats (Jellies & Jams), U.P. Pasties, and more.

.Home Expo returns in March
Canton’s annual Home Improvement Expo will be held Saturday, March 5 from 9 am - 5 pm and Sunday, March 6 from 10 am - 3 pm at the Summit on the Park. At the Expo, do-it-yourselfers will find more than 100 exhibitors ready to give tips and information on a wide range of home improvement topics such as pools, decks, kitchens and much more.
The Expo is free to the public and focuses on home modernization, environmentally friendly home improvement projects, new products and landscaping ideas. How-to workshops will be held all weekend on a variety of topics from landscaping to new product lines. A hands-on children’s project center will be available for kids of all ages, and Expo goers will be able to “Ask the Inspector” how to make their homes safe and code compliant. The Expo is hosted by Canton’s Building and Inspection Services Division, the Canton Chamber of Commerce, and the Observer and Eccentric Newspapers. is the perfect place to come and see what Canton Leisure Services has to offer. We will have several representatives from traditional summer camps to weekly camps to summer programming all in one place. In addition, we will have fun activities for the kids. Mark your calendars! If you are overrun with old toys and outgrown clothes a mom to mom sale
is just the place for you to make some money as well as room in your house. We are offering 2 size booths. Each booth will have an 8 foot table. There is a 9ft x 6ft space which will only be enough room for your table. You could rent 2 spaces and have tables and racks. There is also a 10ft x 10ft space that have wall room. People get very creative with racks or milk crates to display their items. All large items will go in our large item room for sale. That will allow you more room and we handle the transactions in there for you.
Set up will be available the night before as well as early hours the day of the sale. Sales opens at 8am for Early Birds and 9 am for regular admissions.
If you are interested in renting space and participating you can contact Julie Allen or stop by the front desk at the Summit on the Park to register. Once the application is completed you can mail it to Julie with payment to the Summit on the Park 46000 Summit Parkway, Canton MI 48188 attn: Julie Allen.
