Canton man charged with Criminal Sexual Conduct involving a minor
March 3, 2017, Canton, MI – Yesterday, Canton resident Eric Christopher Locke, age 20, was arraigned in 35th District Court on three counts of Third Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct.
Canton’s School Resource Officers received information on Monday regarding a potential relationship between Locke, an assistant coach for the Canton High School Varsity Hockey Team, and an underage high school female. Police began an investigation which led to Locke being arrested on Tuesday.
Judge James A. Plakas set Locke’s bond at $500,000 Personal, plus a tether. He is scheduled for a Probably Cause Conference on March 10, 2017, and a Preliminary Exam on March 17, 2017. Third Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct is punishable by up the 15 years imprisonment.
