[ARCHIVED] Summit Swim School Offers New Swim Instruction Option To Canton Community

Participants in the Summit Swim School will enjoy smaller class sizes, personalized instruction and consistent scheduling. A one-time enrollment into the program entitles participants to: continuous classes without session breaks; a convenient monthly payment plan with automatic deductions from a debit or credit card; smaller class sizes with a 1:4 ratio; experienced instructors certified by the American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Program; and a free drawstring bag, goggles and towel.

“Continuous swim lessons are a great way for children to become safer, more confident swimmers,” said Brad Chiasson, Summit Aquatics Specialist. “The Summit Swim School provides a convenient way to learn an invaluable lifelong skill.”

Enrollment for the Swim School is already underway for ages three to five, and limited spaces are still available for the first session, which begins November 1, 2014. As the program expands, enrollment will be offered to more age groups. A January 3, 2015 start date for beginning swimmers ages five to twelve has been scheduled with registration starting December 15, 2015. A March start for intermediate swimmers ages five to twelve is also currently being scheduled. Spots are limited and are available on a first come, first serve basis. Monthly registration fees for the Summit Swim School are $50 for Summit members, $55 for Canton residents, and $65 for non-residents.
