Canton Club 55+ will be joining an estimated 1,000 groups nationwide in celebrating the 23rd Annual National Senior Health & Fitness Day (NSHFD) on Wednesday, May 25, 2016.
As an official host site, Canton Club 55+ will hold a full day of events, highlighting this year’s theme, “Improve Your Health for a Better Self!”
On this day, Canton Club 55+, located in the Summit on the Park, will join an estimated 100,000 seniors across the country expected to help promote active, healthy lifestyles through physical fitness, good nutrition and preventive care.
“This is an annual event allows our community to recommit to a healthy lifestyle,” stated Jason Lombardo, Summit on the Park Coordinator. “The events throughout the day provide a wonderful opportunity for seniors to make, renew, and revitalize their commitment to live healthier lives through better health, fitness and wellness choices.”
