“Old Ringers” is a PG-13 adult comedy written by Joe Simonelli about four senior women and one man affected by their negative financial changes due to the economy. Strapped for funds, they decide to start a new business venture that includes a phone sex service to increase their incomes. This all comes about from a call accidentally made to one woman from the As You Like It - Shakespeare Phone Sex Service. Audience members won’t stop laughing as this play overflows with one bawdy comic line after another, while also addressing relationship issues between mother and daughter, as well subjects regarding religion, age, sex, dating and morals.
Producer Laura Kitzman says, “Senior citizen phone sex gone hilariously wrong!” This play will appeal to anyone who wants to get away from the cold and snow and enjoy a cleverly written comedy. Kitzman says, “There are also some great messages in this play regarding relationships, integrity and ethics.”
