In commemoration of two decades as the community’s fitness and recreation destination, visitors to the center will be given a chance to fully experience many of the Summit’s amenities. Entry to the building is free for all ages on this day, as we extend a special invitation to the community to join us in marking this milestone.
Re-dedication of the facility will be held at 4 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom, followed by a light reception with cash bar, featuring dueling pianos and giveaways through 6:00 p.m. Children and youth are invited to have fun “Under the Big Top” in the gymnasium and in the aquatics area for open swim from 1:30 – 5:30 p.m. Plus, participants can compete in a Rubber Duck Race at 3:30 p.m. Just check-in at the Aquatics Center by 3:15 p.m. The first place winner will receive a free private swim lesson, with the second place winner receiving a free group session. Additional festivities also include giveaways throughout the day and refreshments while supplies last, as well as a chance to win an individual annual membership.
The celebration will continue all year long for Summit Members with membership appreciation events on the 20th of each month and special activities in appreciation of the community’s support.
