Cult classic of its era, epitome of in-your-face and equal-opportunity-offender humor, 'The Producers', originally written and directed by Mel Brooks, starring Gene Wilder and Zero Mostel, is now a big Broadway musical— premiering with stars Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane —winning a record-breaking twelve Tony Awards and touring internationally.
Satirically-dark and a must-see in the musical arsenal, dynamic duo Leo Bloom and Max Bialystock devise a get-rich quick scheme that is sure to make them millions…
…All the down-on-his-luck producer and the mild-mannered accountant need to do is produce a sure-fire flop! Swindling spry "little old ladies" out of millions of backing-dollars and finding the worst script ever written is only the beginning of this fiasco. Only something goes terribly wrong—the show backfires and is a scintillating success!
'The Producers' takes the main stage for six performances on September 18-20 & 25-27, 2015 with Friday and Saturday performances at 8PM and Sunday performances at 2PM.
