Families are invited to celebrate the great outdoors and set up tents on the north side of Heritage Park near the pavilions. There will be plenty of activities for the entire family beginning at 6 p.m. including: inflatable bouncers; face painting; s'mores making; family games and activities. Plus, canoe rides will also be available for a nominal fee. Crusin' Custom Coneys will also be on site providing a tasty dinner for a nominal fee. In the event of severe inclement weather, the movie may be suspended or cancelled.
Once again, campers and RVs will be allowed to participate; however, no electricity will be available. Set-up of tents and campers will begin on Friday at noon. No advance reservation is necessary and the $20 camping fee will be collected on-site the day of the event. If you’d like to come to the event but can’t stay the night, join us from 6-9 p.m. and pay only a $5 fee per person to take part in the evening’s activities and movie (does not include canoe rides, face painting, refreshments and concessions). Saturday morning, an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast will be available for only $5 per person.
Join us for a unique opportunity to sleep under the stars in Heritage Park, located west of Canton Center Road and south of Cherry Hill Road, during this inexpensive overnight camping experience. For more information, call 734/394-5460 or visit www.cantonfun.org.
