May 21, 2015, Canton, MI – In accordance with the Uniform Traffic Code for cities, townships and villages, R28.1127, Rule 127, the Director of Public Safety has issued the following traffic order as related to the Canton Cup Soccer Tournament:
Due to safety concerns for pedestrians and motorists, the speed limit on Denton Road shall be 25 mph from 1,000 feet north of Proctor Road to 1,000 feet south of the southern boundary of Independence Park, during the following listed times of the Canton Cup Soccer Tournament:
May 22, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
May 23, 2015, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
May 24, 2015, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
In addition, parking will be prohibited on the east side of Denton Road from Times to Landsdowne.
