April 21, 2015, Canton, MI – Canton Public Safety welcomes its newest firefighter/paramedic, Bernard Brosnan, to the department. Brosnan took his Oath of Office on April 20, 2015.
All new firefighter/paramedics in Canton are required to successfully complete three months of mentored orientation and training prior to becoming manpower on an assigned shift. New firefighters are on probation for one-year while they complete an extensive training program, maximizing their potential and providing them with the tools necessary to succeed in their new position as a Canton firefighter/paramedic.
