Preparations are underway for the 11th Annual Brew, Brats, & Bands at the Barn fundraising event that will be held as planned on Saturday, September 11 from 6-9 p.m. in Preservation Park, despite the recent fire that destroyed the Cady-Boyer Barn, which was the event’s previous location.

Event planners are confident that the scenic location of Preservation Park, located at 500 N. Ridge Road, will remain the perfect backdrop for this popular fall event.

“This event has always been affectionately known as B4 because it was ‘Brews, Brats, and Bands at the Barn,’ and it will remain so even without the physical barn,” said Gregg King, Canton Facility Services Supervisor and fundraiser organizer. “Year after year, it’s been an honor to host this annual fall tradition, but this year will be even more special and bittersweet with the barn no longer there."

Proceeds from this unique beer tasting event will support the Canton Historical Society. Sponsors of this popular event include: Canton Leisure Services; Holiday Market; Liberty Street Brewing Company; Canton Brew Works; Beerfests.com; Alphagraphics; Choice Insurance Agency; Edward Jones Investments, and Kennedy Nemier Insurance Agency, Inc.

Admission includes seven drink tickets each good for a four-ounce beer tasting sample.  Attendees will be able to choose from over 50 different craft and specialty beers from all over the country for event-goers to sample in one location. Brats with all the fixings will also be included with admission, as well as a keepsake beer tasting mug. Musical entertainment will be provided throughout the evening by: “Standing Room Only," performing all your favorite classic Rock hits and "All Directions,” playing popular Rhythm and Blues standards.

Tickets are $30 if purchased before September 10, 2021, and $40 at the door. Get your tickets starting July 5, 20221 online at www.beerfests.com. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the Summit on the Park at 46000 Summit Parkway, as well as the Canton Farmers Market at 500 N. Ridge Road.  Designated Driver tickets are also available for just $10.  Additional beer tasting tickets are available for purchase; receive 4 additional tickets for just $5.
