Work up an appetite for a good cause Thanksgiving morning by running or walking in Canton Leisure Services 19th annual Turkey Trot for a Cause on Thursday, November 25, 2021, starting at 9 a.m.
All ages are encouraged to join us in the fight against epilepsy by taking part in the chip-timed 5K race or 1-mile fun run that will benefit the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan, an organization dedicated to empowering individuals with seizure disorders.
This year’s race is set to start at the Summit on the Park, located at 46000 Summit Parkway in Canton, MI, and will cover a picturesque, flat course that winds through Pheasant Run Golf course, beautiful Heritage Park, ending back at the Summit.
Pre-registration is available online. Participants registered by November 9, are guaranteed an event T-Shirt. Registration fees are: $30 for the chipped 5K race and $20 for the one-mile fun run.
Participants can pick up shirts and bibs starting November 21, at the Canton Sports Center/Kickers Bar and Grill, located at 46555 W. Michigan Avenue, on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or Wednesday, November 24 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. or at 8 a.m. race day at the Summit on the Park.
