Due to the Labor Day holiday, GFL will not collect refuse, recycling or yard waste on Monday, September 2 and all collections will be delayed by one day that week. GFL will resume their regular collection schedule on Monday, September 9.
As a reminder, beginning Monday, November 4, GFL will be going to a five-day collection schedule, a change to the current four-day schedule. This modification will ensure better service to Canton residents, providing more timely pickups of trash, yard waste and recycling. Residents can see if their collection day changed by visiting www.canton-mi.org/trash or by clicking on the ‘Trash Collection’ icon on the bottom of the Canton website homepage.
All refuse and recycling must be placed at the curb by 6:30 am to ensure pick-up. GFL will not pick-up refuse or recycling that is placed past the sidewalk on private property. All recycling must be placed separate from your refuse on the opposite side of your driveway.
