January 29, 2015, Canton, MI – Canton resident Spencer Jurcak Hall, age 24, is charged with (2) counts of Breaking & Entering a Building with Intent, a 10-year felony, and (1) count of Attempt Breaking & Entering a Building with Intent, a 5-year felony.
On Monday, January 26, 2015, at approximately 1 a.m., Canton police officers were dispatched to an alarm at Jets Pizza on Palmer & Haggerty Road. Officers found the business had been broken into and cash taken. Two hours later, Plymouth Township police officers responded to an alarm at a Jets Pizza on Ann Arbor Road, and discovered the business had also been broken into with cash taken.
At approximately 4 a.m., a Canton police officer watching the Jets Pizza located on Cherry Hill at Canton Center, observed a subject walk up to the building and then run away. The officer observed the storefront glass had been broken, and an audible alarm was sounding. Officers quickly responded to the area and were able to locate and apprehend the suspect hiding in a wooded area.
Hall was arraigned on January 27, 2015 by 35th District Court Judge Ronald Lowe, who set bond at $50,000 cash, with a preliminary exam date of February 13, 2015.
