[ARCHIVED] Canton One Acts Festival Returns to The Village Theater at Cherry Hill

TLC Productions will host its 3rd Biennial Canton One Acts Festival 2015 at The Village Theater at Cherry Hill January 16-18, 2015. Eight original one-act plays have been selected from authors around the United States, as well as Australia, and will be performed on Friday, January 16 at 8 p.m.; Saturday, January 17 at 8 p.m.; and Sunday, January 18 at 2 p.m.

After receiving over 100 entries, festival co-producers Tim Chanko, Linda Pohl and Christopher Tremblay narrowed the selection down to 20 semi-finalists, ultimately choosing the eight plays that will be performed during the festival. Scheduled works, include: "Car Talk," by Elaine Alexander; "Clocking Out" by Richard Holland; "Crisis Line" by Dan Borengasser; "The Kill" by Alex Broun; "A Place That Looks Like Davenport" by Paul Lewis; "Press Pray" by Seth Freeman; "Serenity Island" by Kay Poiro; and "Such a Small Word" by Mo Paraventi.

TLC Productions is one several community groups that often performs at The Village Theater at Cherry Hill Road, located at 50400 Cherry Hill Road, Canton, MI 48187.
