On Tuesday, July 25, 2017, area residents are invited to attend the Fourth Annual Rally on Ridge at Preservation Park for a festive evening of food, fun, music, and more all to benefit the Canton Farmers Market.
Stop by from 5:30 – 9:00 p.m. to partake in local eats with friends, family, and neighbors and enjoy activities for all ages, including: live acoustic music, gourmet food trucks, games for the kids, and more. For event-goers who plan to stay for the music, we encourage bringing along a lawn chair or picnic blanket. This year’s event promises to be bigger and better with its expanded hours and increase in the number of participating food truck vendors. Over 20 food trucks and vendors are tentatively expected to take part in this year’s event. In addition, a new Beer Garden will also be available for participants 21 years of age and older.
“This popular annual event is a wonderful way for local families and friends to take advantage of a great summer night outdoors by enjoying some delicious eats from a fantastic lineup of gourmet food trucks, as well as fun entertainment,” said Farmers Market Coordinator Jacqui Spears. “It’s the perfect event for showcasing the home of the Canton Farmers Market while building community support for Market programming.”
The Cherry Hill School House area will also play host to face painters, bouncer, games, & other children's activities! More adventurous diners can visit Preservation Park to find vendors featuring deliciously gourmet menus and live music from talented local artists! No need to choose just one stop, stroll between the two nearby locales to enjoy vendors in both spots.
A portion of the proceeds collected from food vendor sales during this family-friendly fundraiser will benefit the Canton Farmers Market, which is currently celebrating its eleventh season. With the recent influx in “buy local” initiatives, the Canton Farmers Market is seeing an increase in both the number of participating growers and in customers. As such, the market continues to expand its offerings during Market hours, which are held every Sunday, rain or shine, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. now through October 15, 2017.

The public is encouraged to attend this special fundraising event, which will be held the Cherry Hill Village District, as well as in Preservation Park, located at 500 N. Ridge.
