In the spotlight: Heritage Park
Canton's Heritage Park is a 105-acre picturesque park located on the west side of Canton Center near the Summit on the Park that can be found directly behind the Canton Administration Building, which is located 1150 S. Canton Center Road.
As Canton's largest developed and most-visited park, this centralized gathering spot is home to Liberty Fest and our Summer Concert Series. Visitors to the park can utilize a variety of playscapes, including the Heritage Hideout; a We-Go-Round,” which is a wheelchair-accessible merry-go-round where children of all abilities can spin together;
an accessible musical playground; and more for all ages to enjoy.
Visitors to Heritage Park can also enjoy: a popular splash playground, rental pavilions, a lovely gazebo, two large ponds, walking tracks, an amphitheater, baseball diamonds, a sand volleyball court, fishing pier, and much more.
Located near the clock tower, a Veterans Memorial was established in honor of those who served and in memory of those who died serving our country, where annual Memorial Day Remembrance services are held.
