Commission for Culture, Arts & Heritage

Tell Us "Who’s your Local Hero?"

2020 posed many challenges for people throughout the year. Times were hard and help was needed.  The COVID pandemic disrupted the lives of many BUT it also showed us some true local heroes.

In a time of darkness, many people were the light and now it’s their time to shine!  The Commission for Culture, Arts & Heritage (CCAH) is asking YOU who your local Canton hero is.

Every month the committee will recognize a Canton Township Hero who displayed acts of kindness, hard work and dedication going above and beyond the call of duty and tie them to one of the many celebrated holidays throughout the year.

Nominate Your Local Hero Here!

The Canton Commission for Culture, Arts and Heritage is holding a contest to see How Do You Spell C.A.N.T.O.N.?

The Commission for Culture, Arts and Heritage Commission serves the Canton Community and leads the effort to weave all forms of art and heritage into the fabric of the Greater Canton Community.  Through progressive, innovative practices and planning, the Commission will be nationally recognized as a model for regional arts and heritage advocacy.

The How Do You Spell C.A.N.T.O.N contest is an opportunity for Canton residents, business owners and the like to get creative by making a display that spells C.A.N.T.O.N. The creativity is limitless as long as the art spells C.A.N.T.O.N.
