  5. Cardboard Boat Race

    Are you looking for something fun to do that will bring your family together? Come join us for our 5th Annual Cardboard Boat Race! Build your custom vessel using nothing but cardboard, duct tape and paint. Line up your crew and register today! Awards will be given for the Most Creative and Fastest Boats as well as for the best Titanic. Any materials involving cardboard, including cardboard tubing, may be used. Registration is required for this event. Struggling to find building materials? Join us on Wed August 29, from 5:00-7:00pm where we will provide materials (cardboard and colored duct tape) for an additional cost. We will reserve the half of the gym so you and your family can build the boat together the night before and we will display your boat until the race the next day!
