Friday is a great day for families and features the start of our Marketplace, two stages of entertainment and much more! You will not want to miss The Killer Flamingos on the Live Stage or Ken Dumm! Packet pick-up for the Liberty Run begins at 4 pm near the clock tower. If you aren't already registered, be sure to stop by to get signed up for the 5K or 10K walk/run.

Skerbeck Carnival ($): Purchase tickets or wristbands to enjoy Carnival rides all weekend long. For more information visit the Carnival Zone.

  • All Day Market Place Shopping ($): Take a stroll around the pond and shop your way through vendors from near and far.
  • All Day Canoe & Kayak Rides in the Heritage Pond ($): Experience Liberty Fest from the water!  Rent a canoe or a kayak from Heavner Canoes.
  • All Day Spin Art ($): Spin Art, Sandy Candy and Airbrush Tattoos.
  • All Day Lego Tent: Check out this amazing Lego Build that includes real moving Lego's!
  • All Day D & M Face Painting ($): Pick your favorite character or design to wear for the day while visiting the festival.
  • All Day D & M Art Tent: Stop in and make some free art with our very creative friends.
  • 10:00 - dusk Scholastic Book Fair Tent ($): Stop in and shop to kick off some summer reading.
  • 12:00 - 6:00 pm DIA Away Experience: Mobile interactive & creative exploration for all ages.
  • 12:00 - 10:00 pm Adult Beverage Tent ($): Enjoy a frosty cold one under the tent while enjoying the entertainment from the Canton Live Stage
  • 12:00 - 8:00 pm Shell Camino Monster Trucks ($): Love Monster Trucks? Love Watching them on TV? Come take a ride in one right here at Liberty Fest! $8 per person.
  • 12:00 - 8:00 pm Animal Exhibit: Nelson the Safari Guy & Barnyard Express, 2 pm, 4:30 pm & 7 pm.
  • My Adventure Theater: an interactive, family friendly theater experience for the entire family; no experience necessary.  Characters are chosen from the audience; costumed on the spot and narrated through action-filled, laugh-packed adventures complete with songs, dancing and barrels-o-fun. Performances at 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm, 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Located at the north side of the park near the Live Stage.
  • 1:30, 2:30, 3:30 pm Canton Farmers Market Cooking Demonstrations featuring Chef Greg of Wok Asian Bistro sharing unique summer recipes, like his one-of-a-kind, Ramen Burger!
  • 4:30 - 5:00 pm The Michigan Center for Capoeira: Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian art form that combines elements of dance, acrobatics, and live music. Located at the Amphitheater Stage.
  • 4:30 - 6:30 pm Slick Jimmy: Primarily an 80's rock band but occasionally dips into the 70's and 90's!
  • 5:00 - 9:00 pm (while supplies last!) Canton Firefighters' Annual Spaghetti Dinner ($): Dinner includes all-you-can-eat spaghetti, roll, cookie and drink prepared by Rose's Restaurant, proceeds benefit the Canton Firefighter's #2289 Foundation.  $7 for adults (13 and up), $5 for children (5-12), FREE for children 4 years and under.
  • 5:00 - 6:00 pm Spotlight on Youth: Spotlight on Youth (SOY) is now in its seventh year as the only youth specific theater group.Performance will feature songs from “Music Man, Jr.” 
  • 5:00 - 7:00 pm 96.3 FM WDVD Street Team Onsite: Look for WDVD's booth on the festival grounds. Stop in for some great freebies and radio station promotions.    
  • 5:30 - 7:30 pm Carly Bins: Now 16 and a metro Detroit high school junior, Carly is an accomplished singer-songwriter with a voice that's a cross between Colbie Caillet, Melissa Etheridge, and Taylor Swift. Located at the Spaghetti Dinner.
  • 6:00 - 6:45 pm Grace Rembinski: 12 year old, Discovery Middle School student and 2015 Canton Idol winner will "wow" us with her beautiful voice. Located at the Amphitheater Stage.
  • 7:00 - 8:00 pm Jumpin' Allstars: Nationally competitive non-profit jump rope performance and competition team from Livingston County, Michigan. Located at the Amphitheater Stage.
  • 8:00 - 10:00 pm The Killer Flamingos: An infectious blend of pop, rock, and electronica, Killer Flamingos produce a sound that is turning heads and capturing listeners everywhere. Located at the Live Stage.
  • 8:15 - 8:45 pm Ken Dumm: A magic show for the entire family! Ken's show is perfectly suited for theater audiences. Ken fills the stage with enthusiastic energy and plenty of audience participation. When Ken takes the stage, you'll be on the edge of your seat! Located at the Amphitheater Stage. 
  • 8:45 - 9:45 pm Silver Sounds: The best way to get ready ready for our movie is to dance and play along with the hits from our favorite DJ! Located at the Amphitheater Stage.
  • At Dusk Movie under the stars featuring Star Wars: The Force Awakens Grab your blankets and popcorn and enjoy the movie in scenic Heritage Park. Located at the Amphitheater Stage. There will be a Star Wars costume contest right before the movie! Categories are for ages 0-12yrs and one 13 and older. Prize packages have been donated from Goodrich Theaters.
